Seurre, Eglise st Martin, Julien Tribuot 1699

The royal organ

The little village of Seurre is home to the last unmodified testimony of Parisian organbuilding in the reign of Louis XIV. This is the organ Louis Marchand, François Couperin knew, although in a slightly smaller package than the organ they knew in the royal chapel of Versailles.
